Support your local rape crisis centre
Due to a continuing high level of demand for our services, we have had to take the very difficult decision to close our Edinburgh service to new referrals until 7 October. We have taken this decision because the number of people waiting for our support now outweighs our capacity to be able to provide support in a timely way.
We believe that anyone who has experienced sexual violence should be should be able to access support when they need it – and will continue to do all we can to secure sufficient funding to enable us to achieve this.
Following recent media coverage of the temporary closure of our Edinburgh service waiting list we would like to thank all our funders and supporters for their ongoing support, which enables us to provide free support to hundreds of survivors each year.
We need your help now more than ever. As the demand on our service increases, any contribution you can make will help us keep supporting survivors of sexual violence.
Stand with us against gender-based violence and pledge your support for survivors by becoming a Friend of Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre by setting up a regular donation from just £3 a month.
