‘Little Green Book’ on trauma and recovery

Our Little Green Book covers the key things that survivors struggle with and aims to offer practical ways of coping whilst waiting to access support. We have included exercises which our workers have found helpful in support, as well as quotes and words from survivors which aim to be a source of comfort and reassurance.

It’s ok to be me

The ‘It’s ok to be me‘ booklet by our STAR Project covers the many common impacts of trauma after sexual violence using language, exercises and illustrations which are in an appropriate and accessible way for young people.

The contents section on the first page is important as not all of the content may be appropriate. For example, some sections could trigger feelings or memories associated with the trauma they’ve experienced. So before reading the booklet, please read the contents section and pick and choose the sections you look at.

‘My Special Place – a guided visualisation’

This blog is written by Hannah, a Young Survivors Support Worker with our STAR Project and is a guided visualisation of ‘My Special Place’ – try to imagine a place where you feel calm and relaxed. You can read the blog and download the worksheet here.
