Temporary closure of our ELSAS and MSAS Waiting Lists

We’ve had to take the very difficult decision to close our East Lothian Sexual Abuse Service and Midlothian Sexual Abuse Service to new referrals. If you’re already on the waiting list, you will remain on the list. If you’ve any concerns or questions about your referral, please contact us on elsas@ercc.scot.

If you have experienced a rape or sexual assault within the last 14 days, please let us know as all our services are still open to survivors of recent incidents.

East Lothian Sexual Abuse Service (ELSAS)

ELSAS offers support in East Lothian to survivors of all genders over the age of 18, who are currently experiencing or have experienced sexual violence.

When you contact ELSAS, we will offer you here and now support, as soon as we are able. This will consist of up to six 50 minute support sessions with the same worker. During this time, we will provide you with a safe, confidential space where you will be believed and supported.

Towards the end of these sessions, we will explore the next steps with you.

Following here and now support, you can join a waiting list for a block of further support, up to 16 sessions, if required. This may not be with the same worker and there will be a waiting time for this support.

You can email ELSAS at: elsas@ercc.scot
