Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge. Every donation we receive on our fundraising page between 29 November and 6 December will be doubled while match funds last!

Help us to increase access to our support

Transport costs? Childcare? Language barrier? Survivors can face many barriers when trying to access support and the cost of living crisis is worsening these.

We’re fundraising for an Access Fund which will help overcome these barriers. It’ll cover transport, childcare, digital devices and interpreter costs for those who couldn’t otherwise attend support.

It’s vital that survivors don’t lose out on the opportunity of recovery because they can’t afford to travel to their appointment, pay for childcare or don’t speak English as their first language.

You can help ensure that survivors gain access to the support they need and deserve as quickly as possible.

I can’t donate at the moment – how else can I help?

We understand that you might not be able to support us financially. But you can still help by spreading the word! You can share our campaign on your social media or with your colleagues and help us reach as many people as possible.

What happens once the target is reached?

We’re delighted to have received match funding from The Reed Foundation and from some fantastic supporters which include Lighthouse Books and Central Taxis. This means that with your help, we’ve the opportunity of raising £7,200 in matched donations!

Once we’ve reached our £7,200 target, donations will no longer be doubled. Any further donations will go directly to the Access Fund and help even more survivors access support. 

Whatever you can afford to donate – it will be doubled!
